In today’s news, refugees in Uganda supported by German and Swedish governments, nearly 13 million people impacted by severe flooding in Chinese province, replenishment of Australia’s Menindee Lakes causes return of abundant wildlife, Canadian researchers find meditation and exercise aid certain neurobehavioral disorder-affected children, four-year-old girl helps remove plastic waste from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil bay, food delivery companies report massive interest in vegan food, and documentary reveals that wildlife flourished worldwide during COVID-19 lockdowns.

Germany and Sweden assist refugees in Uganda.

Germany contributed US$4.4 million and Sweden US$1.2 million to the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) to help 1.4 million refugees hosted by Uganda. The funds will provide individuals essential food items such as beans, maize, salt, and fortified oil, or cash-based transfers to buy food. The latter, in turn, benefits the local economy that is struggling from the surge of COVID-19 infections and its economic impact. Both Sweden and Germany have ongoing partnerships with WFP in Uganda, supplying long-term funding that underwrites many valuable programs supporting vulnerable families. Sweden is a Shining World Leadership Award for Protection laureate. Germany is a Shining World Caring Leadership Award and Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and Wise Governance laureate. Our appreciation, Sweden and Germany, for your collaboration, generosity and compassion. Thank you also, World Food Programme, for your on-going support to those in need. May all refugees be graced with a bright future in a kind world, in Heaven’s protection.

Almost 13 million people affected by massive flooding in Chinese province.

Between July 17 and 20, 2021, record rainfall was experienced in Henan province’s Zhengzhou city and surrounding areas, resulting in huge floods. Sadly, at least 99 lives were lost, approximately 1.1 million people were displaced, and nearly 13 million residents were affected overall. Distressingly, an estimated 1,000 people were trapped in the city’s subway stations and carriages due to rainwater inundating the tunnels. Passengers clung to the carriages’ handrails and struggled to breathe as the water rose up to their chests. A subway rider told her husband that due to a lack of oxygen, most travelers were vomiting, having headaches, suffocating, or fainting. According to Henan’s meteorological bureau, the torrential rainfall broke various weather records from the past 70 years, and the amount of the three-day downpour was almost equivalent to a year’s average precipitation in the city. Our heartfelt condolences go to the families who lost loved ones and we pray all the affected have a speedy recovery. To avoid future climate disasters, may humanity urgently embrace the most eco-conscious vegan lifestyle, in Buddha’s mercy.

Up next, replenishment of Australia’s Menindee Lakes causes return of abundant wildlife. We’ll just take a little time to thank the friendly health screeners at private and government facilities, who check visitors and staff for COVID-19 symptoms by taking temperature readings to ensure the safety of all. Please stay for more motivating news on Supreme Master Television. Vegan: cuz we want 2 live happily & strong.

Hi, kind viewers, it’s Abby the vegan Mink! Where does my endless energy come from? Plants! So, power up like me on vegan fare. Here are some neat ways to reduce food waste. We can inadvertently waste food, especially when we buy it just because it’s on sale. If you don’t have a meal plan for how you will prepare the item or when you’re going to use it, chances are you will likely end up tossing it. It is a good idea to create a list and plan out your meals. This way, you will only focus on buying food items on this list, especially ones that are on sale. If you’re not sure whether you are wasting food or how much you are actually not eating, gather the food waste from prepping a meal and the meal leftovers that you throw away and weigh them. Then, make it a goal to decrease this amount each week. Thank you for watching and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Now, the weather from around the world.

Menindee Lakes in Australia beautified by abundant wildlife.

The Menindee Lakes consist of four main lakes and are located in southwest New South Wales state near the Darling (Barka) River. The lakes became dry after experiencing drought for five consecutive years, causing the disappearance of wildlife. Vast floodwaters in 2019 filled the lakes again, and has transformed them into a paradisal oasis with the return of bountiful wildlife. This includes kangaroos, red-capped plovers, pelicans, ducks, swans, emus, cormorants and many more. Birdwatchers are excited about this transformation. Another reason for celebration is that yabbies, the largest freshwater crayfish in the Southern Hemisphere, have now also awakened and resurfaced from their underground home, after entering a state of suspended animation for years due to the lack of water. What an amazing change! May the Menindee Lakes be a welcoming home for exquisite flora and fauna for generations to come, in brilliant Celestial radiance.

Researchers from Canada recommend exercise and meditation for certain neurobehavioral disorder-affected children.

A study published in the peer-reviewed journal “Frontiers in Psychology” found that exercise and mindfulness meditation can help youth with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). It was discovered that 10 minutes of meditation improves a child’s working memory, their ability to switch between tasks, as well as their capacity to inhibit responses that are not related to their current task (inhibitory control). It was also found that 10 minutes of exercising can help with their psycho-emotional well-being, which includes having a positive mood. Thank you, researchers from Canada, for your useful study into the natural ways in which teachers and parents can assist children with ADHD. In the blessings of the Divine, may our healthcare systems evolve towards more holistic models that nourish the minds and souls of all people.

Young environmentalist collects plastic waste from bay in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Nina Gomes, a 4-year-old girl, and her father remove trash from Guanabara Bay in Rio de Janeiro. They set out on a paddleboard to gather plastic bottles and bags, putting them into a mesh net. When asked why she collects garbage from the sea, Nina said, “Because [otherwise] fish and turtles die.” Her father, Ricardo Gomes, a marine biologist, made a film in 2017 about the underwater world of Guanabara Bay and also started Instituto Mar Urbano, a Rio-based group providing environmental education and bringing people closer to nature. According to the United Nations Environment Programme, nearly 10 million metric tons of plastic are dumped into the oceans each year, and plastic debris is fatal to 100,000-plus marine mammals annually. Bravo, Ricardo and Nina Gomes, for your dedication to safeguarding our precious sea life. May we all follow your noble example, in God’s magnanimous love.

Coming up, food delivery companies report massive interest in vegan food. It is truly a blessing to know that the whole Universe is within our reach; we will take some moments to explore this through meditation. We’ll return with more worthwhile news on Supreme Master Television. Vegan: cuz we don’t want our mouths dripping with blood. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Constructive News for a Peaceful World.

Food delivery firms see huge rise in vegan item orders.

United Kingdom-headquartered online food delivery platform Deliveroo, which operates in 13 countries, recently reported at the Vegan Women Summit event that 50%-plus of orders on its global food delivery system had vegan grocery items, during its Veganuary partnership in 2021. Additionally, the vegan category on its platform has seen an increase of 107% in the past year. Deliveroo also stated that it expects half of the people in the United Kingdom to be flexitarian, those who eat mostly vegetarian, by the year 2025. Another food delivery service, Instacart, that serves the US and Canada, noted that one-third of the orders on its system contain vegan meat or dairy-free items. Such gladdening news, Deliveroo and Instacart, on the rapid shift you are seeing towards the vegan diet. In the support of Heaven, may the change to plant proteins continue with great speed until the entire world is vegan.

Uplifting BBC documentary showing wildlife thriving during lockdowns released.

“The Year Earth Changed,” which is narrated by British natural historian Sir David Attenborough, gives an overview of the COVID-19 lockdowns’ effects on the natural world. Due to humans making less noise and less pollution, it was revealed that the animal kingdom and nature flourished. Whales, for example, could speak to their young more easily without ships nearby, capybaras were seen roaming the suburbs of South America, and the Himalayas could be seen from an Indian city for the first time in decades. The one-hour film allows viewers to consider how small steps can have a profound effect on supporting wildlife and nature. Such a beautiful film! Thank you, Sir David Attenborough, BBC and all involved, in the production of “The Year Earth Changed.” In the grace of the Providence, may we cherish the natural world and be sure to leave space for all beings to live in peace.

They say laughter is the best medicine! Please join us for the joke of the day entitled, “An Extension Course.”

Tommy was going through some tough times, and was thinking he had had enough! Then, the perfect ad on his favorite web magazine appeared: “A correspondence course teaching ‘How to Deal with Life’s Disappointments. 10% discount if you order NOW!’”

Tommy took this as a sign to give it a try… The next day, he received his first lesson in the mail. It was an empty envelope.

?!

And now we have a heartline from Mina in Iran:

My Dear Supreme Master, I love You, and I have had this love from You since the day You looked at my life, and this is the greatest gift You have given me because I did not know or see anything in my life before the rising of Your Light. I love You, and this is my only asset, all I have, all my hope, all my happiness, and all the fruits of my life... There is nothing higher than You. I love You, Dearest of all the Universes. Mina from Iran

Treasured Mina, We are touched by your awe-inspiring devotion which you have expressed so beautifully through simple words. In Divine Blessings, may all beings find their own guiding Light that will help illuminate the world.

Master responds, expressing Her Love, saying: “Gentle Mina, my thanks for your wholehearted and kind words. Love you, and may you and the faithful Iranian people forever know peace in your hearts, in Allah’s Benevolent Grace.”
