In today’s news, Germany provides life-saving food assistance to South Sudan, large wildfires burn across western United States, man with total vision loss since birth taught to see using ears, Nepal starts operating new hydropower plant, California, USA youth harvests neighbor’s backyard fruit to feed those in need, environmental campaign in UK serves free vegan burgers to promote plant-based solution to climate change, and orphaned chimpanzee from Iran given new home in Kenya.

Germany contributes to United Nations World Food Programme (WFP)’s life-saving program in South Sudan.

Germany has donated €5.7 million to the WFP to provide food and nutrition support to more than 150,000 at-risk individuals. It is estimated that approximately 7.2 million people in South Sudan are facing acute food insecurity, including children along with pregnant and breastfeeding women. Germany has continually aided WFP’s activities in South Sudan since it became a separate nation in 2011. Germany is a Shining World Caring Leadership Award and Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and Wise Governance laureate. Our heartfelt gratitude, Germany and World Food Programme, for your ongoing compassionate and timely assistance to the people of South Sudan. May all the faithful South Sudanese live in safety, abundance and joy, in the benevolence of the Providence.

Major wildfires ravage western United States.

As of July 21, 2021, more than 80 severe wildfires were burning across 13 states in the US, including Montana, Idaho, California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Wyoming, and Arizona, engulfing 5,200-plus square kilometers. In southern Oregon, over 2,000 homes were evacuated and a few hundred buildings were burned down due to the “Bootleg Fire.” Climatologist and geophysicist Dr. Michael Mann of Penn State University in the US said it is “crystal clear” that the fires are connected to climate change, as they were fueled by a month-long period of extremely dry and hot conditions stretching between June and July 2021. Many thanks, Dr. Michael Mann, for highlighting the link between wildfires and climate change. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected. For the safety of all, may humanity urgently transition to a vegan world to cool down the planet, in God’s omniscience.

Up next, man with total vision loss since birth taught to see using ears. We pause to appreciate the violinists, who, with their amazing fingerwork, often play the lead melody in an orchestra. When we return, more informative news ahead, here on Supreme Master Television! Vegan side effect: can’t refuse angels’ protection.

Hallo, charming viewers, I’m Graham the vegan Ghost Crab. People call me a hero... because I am Vegan, I save lives! I know people will call you a hero too for the same reason. Wow, we are heroes and the best. Today I’d like to offer a work from home tip for you. Your life at home can be anything but quiet, especially if you have a toddler. If you have an important phone or conference call, just simply hit the “mute” button on your phone or video conferencing app to avoid other participants hearing possible yelling, screaming or crying by the child in the background. This is more professional, and you won’t interrupt or disturb the meeting. Thank you for watching and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Here’s the weather around the world!

Israeli neuroscientists teach man without vision to visualize through sound.

A 50-year-old man who has been blind since birth was trained to see using EyeMusic, a sensory substitution algorithm developed by Professor Amir Amedi, founding director of Israel’s Baruch Ivcher Institute for Brain, Cognition & Technology at the Interdisciplinary Center, Herzliya. The patient was taught to recognize physical objects via sensory substitution that creates a soundscape of them. The technique of seeing through sound is similar to that used by bats and dolphins. Scans of the man’s brain before and after the training showed that “topographic maps” had formed. The maps’ development was previously believed to halt after infancy. What a fantastic finding, Professor Amir Amedi and team. May many individuals benefit from such amazing discoveries as we evolve in knowledge and consciousness, in Heaven’s light.

Nepal’s biggest-ever hydropower project switches on.

The station was recently activated, with the first of its six units now supplying power to the grid. The total capacity of the Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Project is 456 megawatts, and it will enable the nation to generate as much as 500 megawatts of surplus electricity in the wet season that can be exported to India. The extra power is expected to add 1% to Nepal’s gross domestic product, as well as help to stabilize the power grid and make the nation energy independent. Congratulations, Nepal, on the successful building of your new hydropower plant. May your soulful citizens enjoy bountiful bliss and good fortune, in the loving guidance of the Buddha.

Caring US student harvests fresh fruit for food-insecure individuals.

Mihir Anand, 18, of Glendora, Los Angeles County, started Fruitfully Yours in 2017 after witnessing fruit falling from trees and going to waste in his neighborhood. Encouraged by his mother, the then 14-year-old developed the non-profit that has volunteers picking fruit from the trees of around 100 consenting homeowners and public parks. The produce is then distributed with the help of the charity organization Shepherds Pantry, as well as given to a senior nutrition program at La Fetra Center in Glendora. In four years, the non-profit has benefitted approximately 35,000 people and donated over 21 metric tons of fruit, including grapefruits, oranges, kumquats, lemons, avocados, loquats, figs, pomegranates, guavas, persimmons, limes, apples and tangerines. Hats off and humble bows for your noble, heart-warming efforts, Mihir Anand and Fruitfully Yours volunteers. May your altruistic project inspire many to share nature’s abundant bounty as we enter a blissful vegan era, in God’s enduring grace.

Coming up, environmental campaign in UK serves free vegan burgers to promote plant-based solution to climate change. We’ll take a moment to thank God Almighty for Hiers boundless Love that transcends the elements of time and space. You’re watching Noteworthy News on Supreme Master Television. Vegan side effect: can’t escape others’ admiration for u. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Wonderful News for a Gracious World.

British animal rights group Viva! promotes veganism to halt climate change.

To spread the vegan message, it conducted the Viva! La Burger Tour from July 17-21, 2021, with the committed team focusing on 5 cities in Britain, and giving away thousands of tasty vegan burgers for free. The tour included visiting areas of Sussex, Brighton, Salisbury, Reading and Bath. The burgers were served from the Viva! vegan burger van, and included tasty fixings such as vegan cheese and salad. The generous company Taste & Glory provided the plant-based burger patties. The tour also encompassed the Viva! team talking to the public about how eating plant-based saves the planet from global warming and promoting its free online 7-day vegan meal plan.

“It’s been amazing; we’ve been blown away by the response today. I mean, when you bring food into events, and you have a nice, colorful, attractive van and we’ve got really amazing volunteers here today. When food is brought into the conversation, it just lowers people’s barriers. They’re much more interested in talking to us about their journey towards veganism. We’ve had a lot of people today and in Brighton yesterday already say they’re vegan, which is amazing. And so many more people are cutting down (on animal foods), looking for different substitutes. We’re here to show people that you can still enjoy a burger on a Friday night. It just can be more sustainable, healthier, better for the planet.”

The public certainly enjoyed the burgers! “The texture is really similar to meat. I tried quite a few. I don’t eat meat. I’m vegetarian, trying to be vegan. But yes, I’d definitely buy this and have it again. It’s really, really tasty.”

We extend our gratitude to the Viva! Team and Taste & Glory for this enlightening and appetizing information campaign. May all people in the world swiftly adopt the vegan diet as humanity becomes more compassionate stewards of the Earth, in Divine radiance.

Orphaned chimpanzee starts new life at Kenyan sanctuary.

An endangered four-year-old chimpanzee named Baran sadly lost her mother at an early age and was unable to bond with other chimps. Thankfully, Baran has now been relocated from a zoo in Iran to the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary located within the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a wildlife sanctuary in northwestern Kenya, where she will be able to start a new life with other rescued chimpanzees. The move to send her to Kenya is the result of online campaigns advocating Baran’s relocation and a month-long collaborative effort of involved parties, including Iranian officials, the Kenya Wildlife Service, and animal welfare organizations. According to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Baran will become an ambassador for her species and help raise awareness on the plight of wild chimpanzees in Africa. Kudos, Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary and all involved! Beautiful Baran, wishing you a happy new life, enjoying friends and freedom, in Heaven’s love.

Ready for a joke that’ll make you laugh out loud? Here’s a fun one entitled, “Confident Employee.”

After taking time out to eat lunch, Greg returned to the office. He was immediately visited by his boss, who exclaimed to him:

“Greg! Where on Earth have you been? I’ve been looking for you for hours!”

“Well, you know, boss, good employees are hard to find!”
