Palestine Restores Ties with Israel Palestine restores relations with Israel.

The Honorable Hussein Al-Sheikh, head of the Palestinian Authority’s General Authority of Civil Affairs, announced on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, that their government will renew its security and civil cooperation with Israel, ending a six-month withdrawal. He stated, “Based on the official written and verbal letters we received confirming Israel’s commitment [to past bilateral agreements], the relationship with Israel will be restored.” The renewed ties will see resumed tax transfers from Israel to the Palestinian Authority and could facilitate a more coordinated joint response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Also, the following day, ambassadors from Palestine returned to their posts in the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain. Meanwhile, Bahrain’s first government delegation arrived in Israel to discuss friendly collaborations, as part of the recent Abraham Accords Peace Agreement that Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates signed with Israel in September, mediated by United States President His Excellency Donald Trump, a Shining World Peace Leader Award and Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion laureate. We are gladdened by these advances toward peace in the Middle East. Our respectful gratitude, the Honorable Hussein Al-Sheikh and leaders of Palestine and Israel, as well as Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, for your earnest efforts to foster amity and cooperation among your nations. We also commend and thank President Donald Trump and the United States government for your dedicated peace-making role. May Heaven continue to support you all in the strengthening of peace, stability and happiness throughout the world.

European Union supports Palestinian refugees living in Lebanon.

The European Union has contributed €30.6 million to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in support of the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon who have come from Syria. It is part of an EU €43.2 million donation assisting Palestinian refugees in both Jordan and Lebanon. This contribution is expected to finance life-saving services in the areas of health care, education and protection, and address the effects of COVID-19 on Palestinian refugees from Syria and their host communities. In addition, UNRWA will provide emergency cash assistance for Palestinian refugee families in Lebanon. The European Union is a Shining World Leadership Award for Peace recipient, and a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Unconditional World Care and True Caring laureate. Thank you and Heaven’s blessings, European Union, for your renewed commitment in support of Palestinian refugees. May the loving light of the Providence forever grace displaced persons in our world and guide them to safety and prosperity.

Scientists discover the ingredients for organic life on asteroid.

Scientists from NASA’s (National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s) Goddard Space Flight Center in the United States have discovered carbon-bearing organic material on the Bennu asteroid thanks to its probe OSIRIS-REx that landed on its surface and collected samples. The organic matter possibly confirms the theory that asteroids help to transport life-starting material across the universe. As part of the OSIRIS-REx mission, the satellite also created a map of the asteroid’s body, revealing a fascinating geology with carbonate minerals on the surface that indicate hydrothermal systems, which contain both carbon dioxide and water. The satellite is scheduled to return to Earth in September 2023 with the samples for further testing. Such interesting news, NASA scientists! We look forward to hearing about OSIRIS-REx’s exciting findings, in Heavenly wonder.

Up next, United Kingdom research shows cleaner air significantly improves children's respiratory condition. We’ll take a moment to thank furniture finishers for restoring and revitalizing damaged, worn, or used furniture so it looks beautiful again. Hi kind viewers, it’s Teemo the vegan Tapir! I have a very good nose because I am vegan, and I can smell that you are vegan too. Wow, isn’t that fabulous? Now you are my buddy. Here are a few natural remedies to help soothe babies who have caught a cold. Give them plenty of fluids, not those high in sugar, to help thin mucus, prevent dehydration and relieve a stuffy nose. Warm vegetable broth is especially good for clearing up congestion. You can also apply saline drops to a child’s nose to keep nasal passages clean and moisturized. And here’s an essential one: reassuring physical touch can help replace an infant’s discomfort with relaxation. A healthy dose of cuddling before bedtime will encourage a proper night’s sleep to ensure a strong immune system. Thank you for watching and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Now, weather from around the world.

British study finds cleaner air could significantly reduce the number of children with debilitating pulmonary problems.

Research released by the Queen Mary University of London in the United Kingdom revealed that decreasing air pollution as seen during the COVID-19 lockdown could lower the number of children with poor lung function by 20 to 50% in the UK and Ireland. Based on these results, the sponsors of the research, UK-based charity Global Action Plan, and the Netherlands-headquartered community-focused Philips Foundation, have joined with other charities to encourage nationwide improvement of air quality in and around schools. They recommend schools utilize the Clean Air for School Framework, a free online tool designed to customize an action plan to mitigate their school’s air pollution. Our sincere thanks, Queen Mary University of London researchers, Global Action Plan and the Philips Foundation. May all governments help promote a healthier atmosphere for our children’s wellbeing, in God’s benevolence.

Researchers determine the reason we need sleep.

A study led by scientists from the University of California in the United States has determined the function of sleep by collating data from more than 60 studies on the brain. The researchers discovered that up until just before the age of 2.5 years in humans, children experience deep sleep, or Rapid Eye Movement (REM), about 50% of their time asleep. This type of sleep is used to facilitate swift growth in the brain. However, after age two-and-a-half, the amount of REM sleep greatly decreases, and sleep is used for repair and maintenance of the brain. Our hats off, all scientists involved in this fascinating study. May your research help people understand the importance of respecting the natural rhythms of the body and nature, in Divine equilibrium.

Indian centenarian has been offering free education to children for 75 years.

While seated under a tree, 104-year-young Nanda Prasty has been teaching youngsters at no charge for three-quarters of a century in Jajpur, Odisha, India. He also teaches the elderly at night. As a farmworker many years ago, Mr. Prasty encountered villagers who were unable to read or write and decided to show them how to sign their name. He found many of his students were interested in learning more and decided to teach them how to read. They were soon reading the ancient Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad Gita. Mr. Prasty now counts the great-grandchildren of his first students among his pupils. Though the altruistic gentleman has consistently declined to apply for governmental assistance, the leader of Mr. Prasty’s village has decided to build a schoolhouse for the kind teacher. Heaven bless you, Mr. Nanda Prasty, for your noble example of love in action. May all people be inspired by your benevolent heart, in Celestial goodness. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Gratefully present the Shining World Compassion Award to Nanda Prasty, with high esteem, gratitude and best wishes, plus a humble gift of US$10,000 for the children’s extra needs or and your needs, with respect and ample love. May Heavens forever protect and bless you and your lucky students, in Divine Grace.”

We’ll return with more inspiring news on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News - Enriching News for a Prosperous World.

German meat company launches vegan products.

The PHW Group recently collaborated with United States-headquartered LIVEKINDLY Collective, which is dedicated to developing a global plant-based food system, to introduce a vegan range called Green Legend. Its products made from peas, corn, wheat and field beans include five kinds of vegan chicken sausages, burgers, nuggets, schnitzels and two fish alternatives. In the first half of this year, sales of meat replacements in Germany rose 65% compared to the same period last year. Congratulations, PHW and LIVEKINDLY Collective, on your vegan items that enable discerning customers to ensure their own health and the welfare of animals is safeguarded. May your new offerings become a favorite as the diligent German citizens embrace the vegan way, in God’s mercy and grace.

African wildlife rangers run half marathon to raise funds.

Eighty-eight ranger teams from 20 African countries raced in the Wildlife Ranger Challenge, a fundraiser to secure the livelihoods of the conservation front-liners economically impacted by COVID-19. Participants ran while carrying the equipment they typically transport in their wildlife protection operations. In support of the cause, approximately 2,000 people from around the world walked or ran in parks or streets of their countries. The fundraiser was organized by United Kingdom-based conservation group Tusk Trust and biodiversity restoration project Natural State of US nonprofit RESOLVE, with the almost £500,000 raised to be doubled by the Scheinberg Relief Fund, which had already donated US$2 million. More than 9,000 rangers will benefit. Bravo and Heaven bless you, wildlife rangers, for safeguarding our precious animal co-inhabitants. Much appreciation to you, Tusk Trust, Natural State, Scheinberg Relief Fund and all involved in the event. In Divine love, may we always cherish every being on our treasured planet.

Laughter can relax your muscles for up to 45 minutes, so take some time to unwind and enjoy our joke of the day called “Punctuality.”

A not so handsome guy and a handsome guy were discussing being punctual.

“Why are you always late?”

“Because the trouble with being on time is that no one is there to appreciate it.”

“What do you mean?”

“If you are late, everyone is there staring at you.”

And now we have a heartline from Sara in Iran:

Dear Supreme Master, hallo to You. I have learnt from You to be vegan and respect all creature's lives, and I am so happy for this change in my life. I now notice the beauty of all animals, the planet, and the importance of helping others, be it people, animals, trees, etc... Since this realization, I have become an environmental activist and been working for an animal rescue shelter. Recently I am able to watch Your TV channel more again and I can also meditate for more hours. I think it’s because of this that I really appreciate GOD more and I'm really grateful to You for coming to help us. You are an example for me because You do what You say. Thank You and Your kind team. Love You. Sara from Iran
