BOOK III-VIBHOOTI PADA The Book of Powers Dharana (concentration) is holding the mind on to some particular object. An unbroken flow of knowledge to that object is Dhyana (meditation). When that, giving up all forms, reflects only the meaning, it is Samadhi. The three processes of Dharana, Dhyana, and Samadhi, when taken together on the same object, place or point is called Samyama. By the conquest of that comes light of knowledge.
