When two earthquakes struck southeastern Taiwan (Formosa) on September 17 and September 18, 2022, Supreme Master Ching Hai immediately conveyed Her concern for the welfare of the most vulnerable. In response to Her request, our Taiwanese (Formosan) Association members checked the affected areas and went to provide help as needed. The following is a follow-up report to their initial relief activities.

September 30, 2022 Most Merciful Master, Earthquake Relief Update in Taiwan (Formosa)

Qatari charity assists flood victims in Mauritania.

The Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) collaborated with the Mauritanian Red Crescent to launch the Disaster Information Management Center, in response to floods in Mauritania. The floods have impacted villages and communities, destroyed infrastructure, submerged some commercial areas as well as obstructed transportation. QRCS’s US$100,000 emergency relief plan will not only provide 300 food packages, which include vegetable oil, grains and sugar, but also 300 kits containing blankets and hygiene items, along with health assistance, for around 1,800 people in Nbeika Town, Guerou Department, and Ayoun Al-Atrous Town. The Qatar Red Crescent Society is a Shining World Compassion Award laureate. We applaud you, Qatar Red Crescent Society and Mauritanian Red Crescent, for your loving humanitarian support. May the lives of the soulful Mauritanians soon return to normal, in Allah’s abounding Mercy.

United States government review describes dire state of the planet.

A report by the United States National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration recently called attention to the perilous condition of the planet, with new highs recorded in greenhouse gas concentrations and sea level rises in 2021. It highlighted that the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere last year was 414.7 parts per million, which is the highest in at least a million years, and 2.3 parts greater compared to 2020, despite a decrease in fossil fuel emissions as result of COVID-19 lock-downs and an economic slowdown. The sea levels also rose for the 10th straight year, and many communities have experienced record flooding, drought and heat, even though we are currently in a La Niña climate pattern, which is generally cooler. Such disconcerting news, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, on the dangerous state of the climate. In Divine wisdom, may all governments worldwide immediately ban animal-people products, as we save ourselves with a vegan diet. “Prefer Heaven 2 hell? Yes? Then choose vegan.”

Up next, Scottish Parliament bans smoking outside hospital buildings. Let’s pause to appreciate the exercise physiotherapists who use exercise interventions to manage and treat injuries and medical conditions as well as provide counseling on how to prevent future injuries. We’ll be right back, with more responsible news on Supreme Master Television.

Hallo, virtuous friends, it’s Grace, a vegan lady from the Golden-handed Tamarin kingdom! We all know that our animal-friends bring peace and joy into our lives. Well, I want to tell you that plants do too! Plants bring color, fragrance, clean air and silent company to all corners of our homes and gardens, so it’s good to know how to look after them. Here is a useful tip on how to repair overwatered plants. Signs of overwatered plants include a droopy plant containing yellow leaves, with brown, soft roots instead of firm and white ones. You may see soggy soil and standing water in the pot. To mend these plants, start by setting the plant on its side and carefully pull it out of the pot, including the soil and roots. Use your fingers to remove as much soil surrounding the roots as you can. Lay the whole plant on an absorbent cloth such as a dish towel and let it sit over night to dry. The following day, trim off any soggy or dark-colored roots. You may want to change the pot and soil to encourage better drainage and quicker soil drying. It is ideal for your plant to be placed in an environment with increased ventilation and temperatures with reduced humidity, so it can rapidly flourish. Thank you for watching. Lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants alike. Now the weather from around the world.

Scotland restricts smoking outside hospital buildings.

Scotland recently enacted a ban on smoking within 15 meters of a hospital. The new tobacco prohibition will include fines of up to £1,000 for breaches of the rule. The law is designed to ensure that toxic tobacco fumes will not enter the hospital premises through windows, doorways and vents, and so protect newborn babies and patients recovering from illness. The government plans to end all smoking in the nation by 2034, and provides assistance to anyone wishing to quit via the National Health Service (NHS) QuitYourWay Helpline or by speaking to a local pharmacist for support. Great news, Scotland, on your intelligent new law to protect your beautiful citizens. In Heaven’s watchful gaze, may all people soon switch to a healthy way of living, as we respect our bodies with clean air and the ideal vegan lifestyle for ultimate good health.

Rewetting drained peatlands in United States could prevent massive CO2 release.

A Duke University Wetland Center study in the United States, led by founding director Dr. Curtis J. Richardson, has revealed that restoring the southern pocosin peatlands, found along the Virginia to Florida coastline, could prevent millions of metric tons of carbon dioxide being released into the atmosphere. Around 250,000 acres of wetlands, previously drained for farming but not currently used, could be restored by blocking the drainage channels that were dug, thus allowing the water table to rise again. The peatlands have a significant capacity to store carbon, far exceeding both forests and grasslands. The scientists revealed that if the lands are not restored, and the CO2 is released due to drying and intense burning, it could equal 18% of the total US emissions reductions goal for that year. Thank you, Dr. Curtis J. Richardson and co-researchers, for your report on the importance of restoring wetlands. In Celestial protection, may humanity quickly return all available land to its natural state, including what’s used by the unnecessary and cruel meat industry.

Canadian doctor returns to Pakistan to provide medical expertise amidst flood crisis.

Dr. Fozia Alvi, a Pakistani physician currently based in Calgary, Alberta, flew to her birth country to help the people affected by the ongoing floods. With over one-third of the nation submerged, it has caused more than 35 million people to lack access to purified water, thus making them vulnerable to water borne illnesses. Supported by Humanity Auxilium, a charity organization she founded, Dr. Alvi brought with her medical supplies to operate a mobile clinic there. On September 15, while in Pakistan, she tweeted, “Scale of the crisis and impact of this catastrophe is huge. People need everything, food, shelters, medical care.” We pray that you be continuously supported and protected, Dr. Fozia Alvi and all others involved, in providing relief to the Pakistani people. In Divine benediction, may the soulful Pakistani people be able to recover and rebuild their home country soon. “Vegan: use our power 2 save ourselves.”

Coming up, Israeli vegan meat products now available in Finland. We will pause to appreciate the old family photo albums that bring back treasured childhood memories. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more sharing news. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Laudable News for a Cooperative World.

Unique Israeli vegan meat products now available in Finland.

The Redefine Meat company from Israel, a Shining World Protection Award recipient, recently partnered with MeEat in Finland, to distribute their vegan New-Meat delicacies throughout the nation. Currently, their realistic vegan Beef Flank, Burger and Lamb Kebab products are available in Emo restaurants in Helsinki and will be sold to various outlets in the food service sector through their new partnership. The delectable creations are also offered in more than 250 restaurants across Europe, the UK, Germany, and The Netherlands. The company uses a range of modern technology, such as 3D printing, and artificial intelligence, to exactly mimic the taste and texture of the animal-person based counterparts. Congratulations, Redefine Meat and MeEat, on your successful partnership to help save the planet through compassionate food. In the grace of the Providence, may vegan foods soon fully replace animal-person based products, as we quickly make the switch to the life-saving way.

Veterinarians from Australia leave for Ukraine to help animal-people.

Veterinary surgeon Emma Tomkins and veterinary nurse Pauline Lillie, who own the Hepburn Veterinary Clinic in Daylesford, Victoria, felt compelled to help, after seeing the heartbreaking images of the animal-people companions left behind in the war. Through the support of non-profit Worldwide Vets, they have arranged to fly to Ukraine, taking medical supplies to Vinnytsia in the west-central part of the country. Mostly ex-military workers will go into the decimated areas to pick up the animal-people and bring them back to be treated. Emma and Pauline are raising funds to cover other costs of the trip, including pet food and medicine, through a crowd funding campaign. Our gratitude, Emma Tomkins and Pauline Lillie, along with all supporting groups, for your courageous and compassionate spirit. May God protect you both in your selfless work, caring for the animal-people of Ukraine.

You don’t have to restrain your laughter with this joke of the day titled, “Dating Success.”

Elias asked his friend Max:

“Max, were you successful in getting a date with Jenny?”

“Half successful only.”

“What do you mean?”

“I went, but she didn’t.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Nora in Ontario, Canada:

Dearest Master, This “split second” event is another proof of Master’s Love and Protection for us all.

Early one recent morning, I was on my way to the hospital to be with my mother for her day surgery. My car charm, with Master’s picture, hanging from the rearview mirror, collided with my cellphone holder. The phone holder and phone both fell. When it was safe, I stopped my car for a split second to pick them up. The phone holder’s frame thickness is more than three times the car charm, and was very secured. As such, it felt very strange.

Then, 10 minutes into the highway, without any foreseeable signs, there was smoke coming out of one of the rear tires of a very huge transport truck to my right. Instantaneously, a loud sound preceded the explosion. Of the 16 tires, or more, and each is about half of my car’s size, it was the one closest to me that exploded. Pieces of the tire were flying in all directions, but the largest debris, almost a third of the tire, came shooting right at me. There were cars driving over 110 kilometers per hour all around me. As far as I was concerned, there were no possible safe maneuvers I could do. I was helplessly trapped.

Suddenly, a miracle happened. The whole thing fell in front of me, a split second away. This opened up a window of opportunity for me to steer slightly to the right, inside my own lane, to avoid hitting it. Other smaller pieces also landed a bit away and nothing touched my car. Moreover, the transport truck was able to safely stop on the shoulder of the highway.

When I was able to assimilate things, the most logical conclusion was that it was Master, who, through using the car charm, miraculously “delayed” my drive for a split second to help me and others elude a major motor accident and multi-vehicle collisions. In addition, it was thanks to Master’s Blessings and Loving Help that I could go through my day as planned, literally, untouched and unaffected.

Thank You, our Most Beloved Master. May Supreme Master Ching Hai be well loved, well cared for, and well protected 24/7! We all love You very much!! Let us all be vegan to save ourselves and the world. With God’s Love and thank You, Nora from Ontario, Canada

Insightful Nora, Thank you for sharing your miraculous story.

Master has a caring message for you: “Thankful Nora, the inner Master is always watching over you 24/7. As long as you practice well and follow the precepts, you keep yourself in the loving protection of the Divine. Your story shows how the inner Master can use any means available to assist us. When we sincerely wish to be one with God, God can direct our lives moment by moment and help us to be in the right place at the right time, not only to avoid harm but also to do good, help others and be an instrument of Hiers Divine will. May you and the upright Canadian people be forever embraced by God’s Love.”
