In today’s news, South Sudan receives further humanitarian assistance from Canada, study concludes climate change has accelerated demise of tropical trees in Australia, tough Irish woman conquers Everest Base Camp challenge despite blindness, graduating Ukrainian students dance amid the remains of their bombed-out school, basketball player in United States helps save referee’s life, World Economic Forum recommends people go vegan, and veterinarian returns to Turkey and sets up donkey-people shelter.

Canada increases relief support for South Sudan.

The Canadian Minister of International Development, the Honorable Harjit Sajjan, announced additional funding of over US$173 million on a recent visit to South Sudan. The provision will help strengthen the nation’s food security as well as better access to health, sanitation, water and hygiene services for internally displaced people and other conflict-affected populations. Gender equality will also be encouraged through programs promoting women’s leadership and developing opportunities for them in the agriculture sector, among other initiatives. The funds will further support projects to prevent the use of children as soldiers and safeguard vulnerable displaced people. Minister Sajjan met with South Sudan’s President, His Excellency Salva Kiir Mayardit, a Shining World Leadership Award for Peace laureate and other officials as Canada continues to back the world’s newest country’s transition to democracy. Canada is a Shining World Leadership Award for Animal Protection recipient, and a laureate of five Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection, and a Shining World Leadership Award for Caring. Our sincere appreciation, Canada, for your thoughtful and noble care shown to the lovely South Sudanese. May South Sudan continue to strengthen and grow, in Divine light.

Research shows global warming has shortened lifespan of tropical trees by half.

In a study that examined over 8,300 trees in northern Queensland, Australia, between 1984 and 2019, a team of international scientists revealed that the average lifespan of tropical trees has halved over the 35-year period. Led by Dr. David Bauman, a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom, the paper determines that the cause of the quicker demise is primarily due to drier and hotter conditions driven by climate change. In particular, as rainforest trees lose more moisture amid a warming atmosphere, the risks of water stress and, sadly, deaths also increase. Worryingly, when trees succumb, they release their stored carbon over time, leading to the “profound consequence” of turning tropical forests into carbon sources rather than carbon sinks. Many thanks for the vital, concerning study, Dr. David Bauman and all scientists involved. In Celestial wisdom, may humankind urgently transition to the climate-cooling vegan diet to save all life on Earth. Deny vegan: cos u want 2 earn a place in hell.

Up next, tough Irish woman conquers Everest Base Camp Challenge despite blindness. We pause to thank the motion graphics designers, who use computer graphic rendering techniques and visual effects to create fascinating, moving animated clips. We’ll return with more outstanding news here on Supreme Master Television.

Hey, optimistic friends, how are you doing? I’m Leila, a vegan girl from the Elephant kingdom. Hear me trumpet! I’m a gentle little giant who dearly loves all beings. You can also be physically strong and kind at heart like me by choosing vegan! I have a home remedy tip for you. If you are suffering from a cold, sinus infection, or other respiratory symptoms, you may benefit from using steam inhalation. This common at-home treatment has been proven to help with sleep and voice hoarseness. Try it out the next time you’re feeling under the weather! Use boiling water to fill a basin, then put a towel on your head and set a timer. Place your face approximately 20 to 30 centimeters above the water. Close your eyes and position the towel to form an enclosed space. Next, inhale the steam with slow, deep breaths for a minimum of two to five minutes. Be sure you replenish the hot water every two to three minutes. You may have two to three sessions a day as needed, but each session should be no more than 10 to 15 minutes. Hopefully this home remedy will get you feeling better! Thank you for tuning in, and much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet, thus save the world! Now, the weather around our beautiful globe.

Blind woman successfully completes Everest Base Camp adventure.

Jennifer Doherty, the self-employed owner of JD Audio Transcription from County Donegal, Ireland, managed 10 days of arduous trekking in the Himalayas. Blind from birth, Ms. Doherty was approached by experienced mountaineer Jason Black, who summited Everest in 2013, to join him with a local group to trek to the base camp. The adventurous Ms. Doherty agreed and gained much confidence after a few practice hikes. During the journey, the considerate team members took turns to be her trusted guide person. Her advice after her incredible trip? “You only have one life. You may as well make the most of it. Do whatever you can and have the most fun you can.” Ms. Doherty was supported by the Donegal Centre for Independent Living’s Opportunity Fund, which helps people with disabilities to fulfill their dreams. Hats off, Jennifer Doherty, for your courageous spirit. May all humans achieve noble goals as our Creator wished for us, in Heaven’s munificence.

Ukrainian students dance amidst ruins of their school.

During their unfounded aggression against Ukraine, Russian forces have sadly often aimed at civilian targets like hospitals and schools. In Kharkiv, students at School #134 saw their building destroyed just days after the invasion in late February. Recently, however, the students from the graduating class showed their strength and determination by reconvening in front of the school to perform the traditional graduation “prom waltz.” With their act of grace and hope, the youth attracted the attention of onlookers, nearby Ukrainian soldiers, and even beyond. Ukraine’s foreign ministry posted a video of the celebration, which has since reverberated around the country and the world as a symbol of Ukrainian resilience and beauty. Our heartfelt congratulations and appreciation, graduating class of School #134! May your lives unfold in a Ukraine restored to peace and prosperity, in God’s enduring Love.

United States basketball player assists in saving life of referee.

Myles Copeland, a basketball player from Ohio in the United States, helped revive John Sculli, a referee, by quickly administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) during a game. Mr. Copeland also works as a fireman and had just finished his shift. Referring to his immediate response, he stated, “I didn’t feel like I went out of my way to do anything special. It’s just what I was put here to do. God was able to work through me.” After saving the man’s life, his team, Toledo Glass City, went on to win their match. We pray Mr. Sculli recovers soon. A big applause, Myles Copeland, for your outstanding measures that saved the life of referee John Sculli. In the kindness of the Providence, may your actions along with your life of service to others be an inspiration for all. Apart from vegan 2 save the planet, any other option? Yeah, sure, vegan.

Coming up, World Economic Forum recommends people go vegan. Let’s pause for a moment to thank God for reminding us daily to live a righteous way of life and be excellent stewards of Mother Earth. Supreme Master Television will return in just a moment with more supporting news. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Conducive News for a Habitable World.

World Economic Forum recommends people ditch meat and switch to vegan alternatives.

A non-governmental organization, the World Economic Forum (WEF)’s annual meeting recently ended in Davos, Switzerland, with a warning about the future of our planet and the threats caused by meat consumption. WEF’s recommended solution is to switch to vegan food sources, such as algae, grains, lentils, mushrooms, and more. The organization has also previously highlighted that a plant-based diet could save many wildlife species from extinction. The meeting was attended by 2,500 people, including the world’s top leaders and experts from academia, business, civil society, and politics. Thank you, World Economic Forum, for recommending the life-saving vegan diet to solve the current dangerous situation we face. In Divine awakening, may your advice soon be written into law, as the world's governments take all actions necessary to save our planetary home.

Kind-hearted Turkish woman cares for donkey-people in need.

Dr. Nilgün Varoş, a veterinarian who lived in Germany for many years, returned to her mother country when she retired, and bought a 12 hectare plot of farmland in western Turkey which she turned into an animal-person shelter. It became home to 150 rescued donkey-people requiring care as well as cat -, dog -, camel - and horse-ladies and gentlemen. Dr. Varoş is mainly devoted to donkey-elders, who often face abysmal situations when they can no longer work. With treatment rooms and separate huts for different residents, the shelter has saved thousands of vulnerable animal-folk in the last 13 years. Speaking of her mission, Dr. Varoş said, “This is a work of mercy. … I only expect others to respect every creature and know that the right to life is not limited to human beings.” Bravo, Dr. Nilgün Varoş, for your dedication to helping our beautiful animal-friends. May all beings co-exist in harmony and love, in Allah’s loving Protection.

Let’s savor some sweet giggle candies as the joke of the day is waiting. It’s entitled, “Music Lesson.”

During a music lesson, a piano teacher asks little Joseph a question.

“Why do you close your eyes while playing the piano? You won’t be able to see the sheet music that way.”

“It’s so I won’t see the agony of the audience, Ms. Jensen.”

And now we have a heartline from Wen-Huan in China:

Hallo, Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai and the Supreme Master TV team! I adopted a stray dog-person, “Lucky,” in 2013. Lucky was very naughty, but got along with my family very well. After he passed away, I missed him so much that I went to an animal-people communicator to see how Lucky is doing in another world. Lucky answered that he was taken away by Master, and was very good now. Master took him to Tusita (heaven realm), and he has turned into a black swan-person to learn how to be graceful since he was very naughty before. I was quite happy to hear that and told him to follow Master to practice up there. But Lucky said that he’d still come down to the world to help with Master’s work, so that he could be elevated to a higher realm. Hearing that, I was very touched. The trivial work we do is a reason for Master to elevate us. I will practice more diligently and serve the public more humbly.

I got the precious Gift in 2018. In the summer of 2020, when meditating in a forest and reciting the Gift, I felt myself slowly radiating Light, which became brighter and brighter, bigger and bigger, with the river and trees nearby all hued with a white and golden color. As it was at night, I first thought it was the moonlight, and opened my eyes to find that it was still darkness all around me. Closing my eyes, I again entered the same vision, with the Light expanding continuously to fill up the whole wilderness. I was overwhelmingly touched. Thank You, Master, for bestowing such loving energy to the world through me. I’m very thankful to Master for giving me the chance to be involved. I pray for a vegan world. I wish Master is healthy and happy every day, and accomplishes all Her peaceful projects. Respectfully, Your disciple Wen-Huan from China

Candid Wen-Huan, We were very happy to read your insightful heartline. It is comforting to know that Master takes very good care of our animal friends after they pass. It is also uplifting to hear of the wonderful spiritual experiences initiates have by following the teachings of our Great Master. May you and bright China forever receive blessings from the Buddhas of the ten directions to live in celestial peace and abundance, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master elevates your soul with Her Divine words: “Contemplative Wen-Huan, time on Earth is very precious. In hell, one experiences indescribable pain and suffering and in Heaven, one is in continuous blissful peace. The most favorable conditions for spiritual elevation only exist in the physical world in the presence of a living Master. If initiates waste their time on worldly matters and forget God, they will deeply regret it when they die and see what they could have achieved, but didn’t. It is good you understand this. May you and the resourceful Chinese people always have the favor of the Divine.”

Vegan: cos we r mercy at heart.
