In today’s news, Bangladesh and United Nations agency partner to assist Rohingya refugees, research from Sweden finds COVID-19 spike proteins damage the body’s DNA repair mechanism, largest-ever orchestra performs in Venezuela, cigarette packaging in USA must feature images of harms caused by smoking next year, Australian police officer celebrated as hero after saving two boys from drowning in flooded river, American vegan breakdancer wins world championship in Poland, and first crane-person born in Oxfordshire, United Kingdom in 500 years.

Bangladesh and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) collaborate to aid Rohingya refugees.

The Bangladesh government has dedicated more than US$112 million to developing the Bhasan Char island in the Bay of Bengal, to which almost 19,000 displaced persons have been relocated. Government efforts to improve the island’s safety and living conditions have included constructing sea walls, hospitals, schools and mosques. Bangladesh is currently kindly hosting over one million Muslim refugees from Myanmar and plans for 81,000 more of them to voluntarily relocate to the island over the coming months. The UNHCR has signed an agreement with the Bangladesh government to better provide necessary services to the relocated individuals in the areas of health, livelihood, education, protection, and skills training. Bangladesh is a recipient of Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection and Environmental Protection. We salute your caring cooperation, Bangladesh and UNHCR. May our resilient Rohingya brothers and sisters soon enjoy safe and peaceful permanent homes, in Allah’s eternal Light.

Scientists find COVID-19 spike proteins damage body’s ability to repair its own DNA.

A laboratory study performed at the Department of Clinical Microbiology, Virology at Umeå University in Sweden, by Dr. Ya-Fang Mei and research engineer Hui Jiang, has discovered that the spike protein from the COVID-19 virus inhibits and damages our body’s own DNA repair mechanism, thus interfering with our adaptive immunity response. Human cells undergo extensive DNA damage during day-to-day living, and the repair mechanism is critical for human survival. From their new data, the scientists concluded that people who have been infected with COVID-19, including those who have received a spike protein-based vaccine, could be affected. Thank you, Dr. Ya-Fang Mei and research engineer Hui Jiang, for your important insights into the effects of the COVID-19 spike protein on human cells. In the wisdom of the Divine, may the pandemic soon end as we switch to vegan fare and compassionate life-protecting decisions. Vegan: our meal doesn’t have 2 cost the next generations.

Up next, largest-ever orchestra performs in Venezuela. We’ll take a moment to appreciate the transaction coordinators, who diligently assist real estate agents by opening escrow, coordinating inspections, and ensuring that all documents are submitted in a timely manner for a smooth closing. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more distinguished news.

Hey, optimistic friends, how are you doing? I’m Laffy, a vegan lady from the Saola kingdom. Let’s be the example of compassion to the world and allow all beings to enjoy their lives in peace. This is the principle I live by. Here is a tip on how you should care for poinsettias— a popular houseplant displayed during Christmas— so they can last throughout the season. These beautiful flowers should be kept warm, as an environment that is 15 to 22 degrees Celsius is the coldest they can withstand. If a plant will be exposed to low temperatures for a short period, store it in a bag to be safe as even a brief time in the cold can damage the leaves. Set the poinsettias in an area with light, but not direct sunlight as this can also harm them. You should only lightly water the plant when the compost begins to dry out. Please make sure you do not soak them as this can cause gray mold to develop and increase the risk of them being eaten by pests such as mealybug- and scale insect-people. Allow your poinsettias to flourish by providing them with the nutrients they need monthly—a high potassium, low nitrogen fertilizer. These plants will thrive if you properly care for them! Thank you for tuning in and much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now, the weather around our beautiful globe.

Classical music performance in Venezuela sets Guinness world record for largest-ever orchestra.

Twelve thousand musicians between the ages of 12 and 77 performed a 12-minute segment from the 19th-century Russian composer Tchaikovsky’s “Slavonic March” as their main piece during a one-hour concert at a venue in Caracas. The National System of Youth and Children’s Orchestras and Choirs of Venezuela (El Sistema) organized the event. Director Andrés David Ascanio Abreu shared that the performers were representing the over 1,000,000 children and young people in the nation participating in El Sistema. The previous record for the largest orchestra, with 8,097 instruments being played simultaneously, was a performance held in Russia. Way to go, Venezuela, El Sistema and all involved, on your magnificent concert. May the musicians be embraced, in the love of the Providence, as we coordinate our artistic talents to achieve great peace and prosperity.

Cigarette packaging in USA to require graphic images.

Beginning October 2022, the United States will join 120 other countries worldwide that mandate graphic images of the harms caused by smoking to be displayed on the cigarette packages. The new law requires that the warnings cover 50% of the packaging, including the front and back. A study by the Yale School of Public Health and partners estimates that the move will save approximately 539,000 American lives over the remaining part of this century. The researchers also found that if the rule had been implemented in 2012 as originally planned, an additional 179,000 deaths in the country would have been avoided. The United States is a recipient of five Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, three Shining World Leadership Awards for Good Governance, seven Shining World Leadership Awards for Promoting Healthy Living, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Good Governor, Justice, Protection, and Environmental Protection; and a laureate of 24 Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, three Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Loving Care, a Shining World Leadership Award for Good Governance, a Shining World Peace Leader Award, Shining World Caring Leadership Award, and Shining World Super Loving Care Leadership Award. Our appreciation, US policymakers, for establishing this new labeling requirement, and Yale School of Public Health scientists and partners, for your research. In Heaven’s sheltering love, may those who are leaders in creating better conditions for human health and happiness be always protected.

Australian police officer lauded for daring river rescue.

Two 11-year-old boys, who jumped into the flooded waters of the Lachlan River in New South Wales, were swept 60-meters downstream in the fast-moving current. Fortuitously, the young lads were able to grab hold of a rope tied to a log, but they were quickly losing their strength to hang on to it. Nearby campers called emergency services and Sergeant Joel Hunter arrived. He put on a lifejacket, grabbed a flotation device and jumped into the water. The courageous officer managed to reach the stranded youth, bringing them to shore one at a time. The boys were checked by paramedics and then safely returned to their grateful parents. Sergeant Hunter will be recommended for a bravery award by Central West New South Wales Police District Chief Inspector Peter Atkins. We are delighted at such a positive outcome. May God Bless you, Sergeant Joel Hunter! You risked your own life without hesitation to save the two youngsters, bringing joy to many, in Celestial glory. Want 2 avoid all kinds of pandemic? B vegan.

First crane-child welcomed in southeast England, UK county after 500 years.

The Great Crane Project, run by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), has met with success, as a nesting crane-people couple have produced a gorgeous youngster at RSPB’s Otmoor nature reserve in Oxfordshire county. The fledgling is the first crane-person offspring in this area in five centuries. Delightfully, this year witnessed 14 crane-person chicks in total born across the UK, including in Cambridgeshire, Dorset, Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Wales and Wiltshire, through RSPB’s project which began in 2015. Such wonderful news, Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, on these births. Thank you for assisting the graceful crane-people to have a safe environment to expand their families. May they live long and healthy lives, enriching our world with their beauty and presence, in God’s Munificence.

Now, it’s time to exercise those laughter muscles with the joke of the day entitled, “That Dish.”

“Mom, you know that dish you always worried that I would break?”

“Yes, dear, what about it?”

“Well, your worries are over!”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Heng-Le in China:

Greetings, Respected Supreme Master Ching Hai, For all beings, You’ve sacrificed Your own beautiful life. You’ve been endlessly striving for World Peace and setting Yourself as an example. You’ve been spreading Love and compassion to every corner of the Earth. You have selflessly contributed Your whole life for all beings. We disciples are very grateful to You. It’s only after becoming one of the Quan Yin family that I understood there are two ways to lead a life, one of which is practicing spiritually to find one’s own original nature, walking on the path of Love toward infinite Light. Many thanks to You for accompanying me on the path from darkness to Light. You’ve been guiding me from the inside and taking care of me at all times. You teach me to love all beings, to be a vegan hero, protecting animal-people and the environment, and to fulfill my duty in society and to family. Your meticulous care touches me so much. You’re a great Soul in real life. You’re guiding disciples’ souls back Home, where there’s no war, no suffering, no worries, no jealousy, no harming, no comparing, and no desires, only compassion and Love. My wish is to go Home with You. Thank You, Master. Thank You, Master. Thank You, Master. Heng-Le from China

Awakened Heng-Le, Master has this loving reply for you: “Precious Heng-Le, you understand well. My Love to you and I am delighted as I read of your spiritual progress. Indeed, the exemplary life you are leading is the life that all humans who are worthy of all Grace and Blessing from Heaven and Earth should lead! And such a one like you makes me proud, no matter how challenging my work might be! Continue to be a vegan hero and feel comforted in Divine Love and we will definitely go Home together. May you, your loved ones, and the peace-loving Chinese people know good health and well-being in Buddha’s boundless Blessings.”
