In today’s news, World Health Organization assists Fiji by providing medical supplies for pandemic, climate and weather-related disasters surged five-fold over 50 years, United States study shows benefits of meditation for brain, scientists make progress in discovering cause of certain kind of blindness, young Aulacese (Vietnamese) make socks from recycled plastic, plant-based food giant to be title sponsor of this year’s International Vegan Film Festival in Canada, and three lifeguard dogs save 14 people at beach in Italy.

Fiji receives vital frontline healthcare supplies to aid pandemic response.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has sent more than 15,000 kilograms of medical equipment from its regional emergency stockpile to the Pacific island nation of Fiji as it faces a resurgence in COVID-19 cases. The contribution included 100,000 N95 masks, 75 oxygen concentrators and accessories, 100,000 gowns, and 1,000 pulse oximeters. The donation was kindly transported by the United Nations World Food Programme-managed Pacific Humanitarian Air Service. Over the last year, the air service has also transported 250,000 kilograms of vital medical and relief items to 14 Pacific countries and territories in its continued assistance to the vast area. Our sincere accolades, United Nations World Food Programme and World Health Organization, for your considerate and united efforts to help the beautiful Fiji islanders and other Pacific inhabitants. May all people be protected when we act in the loving and supportive spirit of the Providence.

Climate and weather-related disasters have increased five-fold since 1970.

A new study released by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction stated that in the 50-year period from 1970 to 2019, there were over 11,000 reported disasters caused by climate, weather and water-related hazards around the globe. Alarmingly, these calamities resulted in US$3.64 trillion in economic damages and took over two million lives, of which over 91% of the fatalities occurred in developing countries. During this time, storms and floods were the costliest, resulting in combined economic losses of US$636 billion, while droughts and storms were the deadliest hazards, causing approximately 650,000 and 577,000 deaths, respectively. Soberingly, the WMO’s Secretary-General, Professor Petteri Taalas, warned that climate change is driving the frequency and severity of disasters around the world, including extreme heatwaves, droughts, forest fires, excessive rainfall, flooding and tropical storms. Many thanks for this important report, World Meteorological Organization and United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction. For our survival, may humanity urgently transition to the planet-saving vegan lifestyle, in God’s merciful Embrace.

Up next, new study shows the benefits of meditation for the brain. We’ll just take a moment to thank the Computer Aided Design (CAD) technicians who use special software to create 2D or 3D designs of buildings and other architectural structures, electronic parts and components, toys and so much more. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more enriching news. Vegan: live free, live simple, live saintly

Hi, happy friends, it’s Willy the vegan Least Weasel! My life is full of joy, because I’m grateful for all that surrounds me. Here is a good tip on how to preserve tofu! Tofu spoils quickly once the package has been opened. To extend its shelf life, just fill a small container with water and add in some salt. Then, place your tofu in it and leave it in the refrigerator. The salt will help keep the microbes from growing. Be sure to replace the water daily, and your tofu will be preserved for a week. If you want the tofu to last a month, leave it in the freezer. Big love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants! And thank you for tuning in. Now the weather around our beautiful globe.

New study demonstrates benefits of meditation.

A recently published study from Binghamton University in the United States details how meditation can increase the speed at which the brain can switch between its default mode network for resting and dorsal attention network for a concentrated state of consciousness to focus on tasks. Ten participants were taught to meditate and practiced for 10 to 15 minutes daily, five days a week for two months. Following this routine, it was found through brain scans that the practitioners’ brains could more quickly switch between the two states, had better brain connections between and within these two networks, and could maintain concentration longer. Way to go, Binghamton University researchers, on your work that shows how our brain functions quicker and with greater focus when we meditate. In Divine love, may meditation soon become a part of every individual’s life as we look within for peace and spiritual contentment to return harmony to our planet.

Scientists make progress in discovering mechanism behind disease causing blindness.

A team of scientists led by the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom has found why age-related macular degeneration (AMD) develops. AMD is a leading cause of blindness in the elderly, with 600,000 people in the UK alone being affected. The new data shows that the condition is caused by one or more of five proteins produced in excess by the body’s own innate immune system. This overproduction creates an inflammatory response in the back of the eye that is a component of AMD’s progression. Further research will be conducted to help develop treatments for the condition. Thank you, University of Manchester and co-researchers, for your promising efforts to help solve a major cause of eyesight loss. In the loving grace of Heaven, may your work be a success as clear vision is restored to countless people.

Young Aulacese (Vietnamese) produce socks from plastic waste.

Hoàng Quý Bình and his team at Re.socks, in Âu Lạc (Vietnam), have created socks from recycled PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) plastic. The socks, which allow good air circulation and don’t become fuzzy or stretched, are being sold in the country as well as being exported to markets in England, UK and Australia. Re.socks has held events where customers can exchange used plastic bottles for socks. Moreover, 50% of the profits from this project are donated to environmental protection activities. Mr. Hoàng said, “Garbage, once sorted, can become an invaluable resource. I want to show how easy it is to recycle waste by making socks from plastic bottles.” Kudos, Hoàng Quý Bình and team at Re.socks. In the guidance of the Buddha, may we cherish the Earth and all the created gifts which have graciously been bestowed upon us.

Coming up, plant-based food giant to be title sponsor of this year’s International Vegan Film Festival in Canada. We’ll take some moments to thank Lord Jesus Christ for reminding us to love even our enemy, so that our animosity may dissolve and transform for the better. More splendid news coming up on Supreme Master Television. “Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them.” ~ 1 Corinthians, Holy Bible. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Pleasant News for a Collaborative World.

Wicked Kitchen becomes title sponsor of 2021 International Vegan Film Festival (IVFF).

Taking place in Ottawa, Canada, from October 30th to November 7th, the IVFF will feature outstanding vegan films produced worldwide and offer insights into the many benefits of plant-based eating. The title sponsor to this important event is the 100% plant-based company Wicked Kitchen. It first released its products in Tesco stores in 2018 in the United Kingdom, offering over 45 vegan food items that quickly became hugely popular. In July 2021, the brand entered the US market and achieved the nation’s largest plant-based rollout, with over 2,500 grocery store outlets participating in the launch. CEO Pete Speranza said, “We’re thrilled to partner with IVFF to further our mutual mission to the benefit of our planet and the people and animals that live on it.” Thank you, Wicked Kitchen and International Vegan Film Festival, for your collaboration. May more individuals soon switch to a compassionate vegan lifestyle, in God’s eternal Glory.

Three lifeguard dogs help rescue 14 people at Italian beach.

Heeding the call for help, the canine rescuers, Labradors Eros, Mira, and Mya bravely jumped into the sea off an Italian shore to save a group of three families who were struggling in strong winds and waves after their dinghies and inflatables capsized. The loving dogs helped bring everyone back to the land in 15 minutes with the support of the human lifeguards. All were saved, including eight children between the ages of 6 and 12. The brave dogs are part of the canine rescue team at the Italian School of Water Rescue Dogs, which trains dogs to be lifeguards in collaboration with human rescuers. Bravo, hero dogs Eros, Mira and Mya, and your human companions, for your courageous actions in saving lives, even when risking your own. In Heaven’s protection, may you always be safe during your noble life-preserving missions.

Laughter is a healthy way of life. Let’s hear this joke titled, “Listen to Daddy.”

A small boy, his dad and his grandpa were at the store:

“Daddy, buy me some toys!”

“No, you already have enough toys at home.”

“Just buy him a small one to keep him quiet.”

“He needs to learn to listen to his dad.”

“I am your dad, aren’t I?”

And now we have a heartline from Hsin-Yu in Taiwan, also known as Formosa:

Most Beloved Master, One day, while watching Supreme Master TV at home, I saw many beings suddenly appear, wearing khaki uniforms and green neckties sitting in orderly rows. They were watching Master’s lecture on Supreme Master TV.

Another time, I saw a large number of radiant, tidily dressed beings appeared, and sitting outside my house, listening to Master and enjoying Supreme Master TV.

In a third incident, some monks and nuns had also appeared, and entered my house to watch Supreme Master TV. They even meditated with crossed legs. The street in front of my house was lit up, and Heavenly staircases and beautiful palaces appeared in the sky. The blessing power of Supreme Master TV is so strong and simply out of this world.

And I have another vivid experience. A stray cat was trapped inside a deserted house near where I lived. She was crying and crying for help. My entire family went to her rescue, and with Master’s power and Love freed her from the house. The deserted house had been uninhabited for more than 20 years and was heavily haunted. Master brought down a Heavenly tornado and lifted all the ghosts up to the sky. They kowtowed endlessly in gratitude.

Thank You, Master, for using Your great power to better the world and the Universe. I pray that World Vegan, World Peace will soon be. Hsin-Yu from Taiwan (Formosa)

Visionary Hsin-Yu, We were delighted by your stories telling of how Master’s great power helps so many beings.

Master also enjoyed reading about your visions and replies: “Perceptive Hsin-Yu, I am very pleased that you are aware of the Heavenly energies of Supreme Master Television that radiate throughout your home and beyond. Keep up your spiritual practice, and may the Divine Beings of the Cosmos watch over you, your family, and the gifted Taiwanese (Formosan) people, keeping you safe and secure in Heaven’s Love.”

We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartline
