Ethiopians receive essential aid after peace deal.

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has resumed shipments of food, medicines and supplies for health facilities to Ethiopians in the Tigray region. A truce agreement between the Ethiopian government and the Tigray People’s Liberation Front on November 2, 2022, has allowed the delivery of vital aid. With a population of 6 million, Tigray has had a critical shortage of food and medicine and limited access to essential services such as electricity. The two sides agreed to permit all those in need in Tigray and its adjacent areas to receive relief with immediate effect. Thank you, International Committee of the Red Cross, peacemaking Ethiopian government forces, their allies, and the Tigray People’s Liberation Front. May Heaven grace the amiable citizens of Ethiopia with lasting peace and harmony.

Climate report on Australia has “no good news.”

A report by the Australian Bureau of Meteorology and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) gives a bleak outlook as greenhouse gases cause temperatures to rise. Since 1910, the continent has warmed by about 1.47 degrees Celsius; every decade since the 1950s has been hotter than the preceding one, and the eight years from 2013 to 2020 are among the hottest on record. The warming in Australia has accelerated wildfires, flooding, and mass coral bleaching. Dr. Pep Canadell, who helped prepare the report, tweeted, “Australia is set for a very bumpy ride well into the second half of this century, and beyond depending on how fast GHG [greenhouse gas] emissions decline.” Our appreciation, Dr. Pep Canadell and participating scientists, for this sobering report. May all humanity act now to immediately reverse the warming trend by taking the easy and profoundly effective measure of adopting a vegan diet, in the love of the Providence. Vegan: joy on Earth n in Heaven.

Up next, competition in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, honors projects by university students in support of sustainable development. Let’s now pause a moment to thank wastewater operators for managing wastewater systems, including maintaining treatment facilities, thus ensuring that pollutants are removed and the water is safely returned to the environment. We’ll return with more enriching news here on Supreme Master Television.

Hallo, brilliant viewers, I am Cedric, a vegan prince from the Cedar Waxwing kingdom! I feel so elegant in my gently colored feather suit, and I just love to feast on fruits and berries. Organic plant-based food really is the best, don’t you think? And today, I have a computer tip for you. If you notice your computer suddenly gets slower, try to figure out the cause for this as malware typically consumes many resources. For Windows PC users, look in the Task Manager to discover the number of active processes on your computer. Simply press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC to open the Processes tab. You may notice that a program utilizes almost all of your CPU. In case you don’t recognize the app, do some investigation to find out if it’s legitimate. Next, reset it. If you use Mac, look at the Activity Monitor to identify all the processes your computer is running. Press Command + Spacebar to open Spotlight Search. Next, type Activity Monitor and click Enter. If you detect an app that uses a lot of resources, research it, reset it and check to see if your performance decreases. Thank you for watching, and much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants alike. Here’s the weather around the world!

Dubai initiative recognizes outstanding academic innovators.

May humans live harmoniously on our planet as new advancements assist us to lead healthier and happier lives, in the blessings of the Divine.

British man awakens from coma with art skills.

In 2004, a man from Great Britain named Moe Hunter was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis of the brain and tuberculosis and experienced an over month-long coma. Following brain surgery, he woke up with artistic abilities which he did not have before. His new skills surprised his friends and family, and his amazing story only recently became public. He has displayed and sold his works at Comic Con events around the UK. Moe has also become a carpenter and builds life-size models of film and television characters. Currently, he is writing and illustrating a comic book and screenplay. He explained about his new talents, “I’m just doing what my neurologist told me to do and just trying to enjoy it. I just feel incredibly lucky.” We salute your artistic skills, Moe Hunter. In Celestial delight, may your story inspire others to appreciate their special gifts, as we beautify the world with our love.

Teenager from Japan receives international peace prize.

Seventeen-year-old Kawasaki Rena from Osaka, Japan, has been awarded the International Children’s Peace Prize by the global children’s rights organization KidsRights Foundation, from a pool of 175 contenders from all over the world. The youth’s work has included founding and directing Earth Guardian Japan, an organization that developed an online platform called “polichat” to link youth with their local political representatives, so that they can provide their input on government decisions. Kawasaki is interested in “leadership curriculum building,” inequality, and sustainability. The student said winning the award gives her “further strength to fight until every voice is heard and valued.” Our applause, Kawasaki Rena, on your well-deserved accolade. May your noble efforts to create a better world for young people bear abundant fruits of understanding and peace, in Buddha’s sheltering comfort. “Vegan: cos we don’t want the same cruelty 4 ourselves.”

Coming up, animal-people advocacy organization launches global Vegan Wool Challenge. Let’s now pause to express our admiration of honeybees. They “dance” to communicate information to each other, such as where food is available, or a new home can be established. Supreme Master Television will return in just a moment with more happy news. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Meaningful News for a Thriving World.

Global Vegan Wool Challenge announced.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), has launched the Vegan Wool Challenge, with an award of US$1 million. PETA says the goal of the competition is to save sheep-people by encouraging the development of a vegan wool material that is comparable to, or even better than the animal-people-based one. In addition to saving sheep-persons, a wool alternative would also be beneficial for the environment. For example, according to the US-based Center for Biological Diversity, wool requires 367 times more land to make the same volume of products as cotton. Furthermore, chemicals for cleaning wool are harmful to aquatic life and pollute waterways. PETA is a Shining World Compassion Award recipient, and Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) has previously donated US$80,000 to support its work. Three cheers, PETA, on your encouragement of vegan wool development for both sheep-folk and the environment. In the wisdom of the Providence, may humanity use only cruelty-free fabrics as we discover marvelous materials to replace animal-people-based ones.

Injured cat-person visits hospital in Turkey.

A smart cat-individual has become famous after a video taken of him at Bitlis Tatvan State Hospital in Turkey went viral. The security footage shows the feline-guy, named Davso by hospital staff, limping into the emergency room. Then, nurse Abuzer Özdemir noticed he had trouble walking and realized the cat might be injured. After seeing the rear left foot was broken, he placed a splint on it. Davso left the hospital feeling much better. In a few days, he returned for a reexamination. What an intelligent feline! Best wishes, Davso, for a full recovery. Thank you, Abuzer Özdemir, for your compassionate care for our animal friends. May the adorable cat-people of Turkey always be well looked after, in Allah’s infinite Grace.

The giggle power plant has energized the following joke, so it's all ready to go. This one's called “On Time.”

A delivery company representative said to the computer technician:

“You promised to fix our computer system within 21 hours anytime anything goes wrong. In our business, that means it would be done within one day. Why did it take three days to fix our system?”

“Because we only work 7 hours a day!”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Setareh in Iran:

Hallo Beloved Master, A few days ago, I was told in my dream that two months later would be the time of judgment. Later, when I woke up, I realized that it’s the same deadline that You received from Heaven for us humans.

For us who live in Iran, the situation is more difficult than in many countries. Especially now that these events are happening in my country, and we shed tears every day. Several innocent people are killed every day. They rape children and women and kill them secretly, and kill men with war rifles. My country, Iran, is completely in the hands of satan, and we are trying to take it back and turn it into a beautiful and prosperous country, full of peace and tranquility.

I deeply believe in God’s Mercy and I hope that nothing bad will happen anywhere in the world and the world will be at peace. With all my heart, I thank You for all Your kindness and Love. Setareh from Iran

Tender-hearted Setareh, Thank you for sharing with us what you saw in your dream. May humanity urgently awaken now, before it is too late.

Master has this important reply for you: “Loved Setareh, from afar, I am sending you and Iran my sorrowful prayers and tight embrace! Your message brings tears to my eyes, both for your country and the world as a whole. I have been fighting so hard for humans, trying to postpone the karmic consequences of all the killing and other misdeeds so many people create every day by eating animal-people and violating the Five Precepts. The retribution can no longer be delayed. Anyone who has not made the change to a spiritual vegan lifestyle, if they survive, will be vulnerable. This is the time of purification on Earth. I pray that the terrible events many seers have foreseen do not come to pass and everyone wakes up before the end of January. Pray, my love, that people hear my warning and take heed without delay. May you and your courageous co-citizens of Iran be strengthened and protected by Allah’s infinite Grace. Love you forever!”

“We need to shift to vegan diets to protect our rivers, oceans, air, and soils. It’s time to mobilize and organize in our communities, to put pressure on our elected officials to negotiate a global Plant Based Treaty and avoid planetary collapse.” ~ Paul Wesley (vegan)
