In today’s news, Korea assists reopening of Sri Lanka’s coronavirus-affected schools, global tech company institutes new advertising policy for COVID-19 information accuracy, study finds nature conservation has economic advantages, Australia commits to boosting recycling, police offer shelter to homeless migrant workers in United Arab Emirates, international retail giant introduces vegan meatballs and canine hero alerts caregiver of house fire in United States.

Korea supports Sri Lanka’s education recovery plan in the wake of COVID-19.

The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), a Korean government agency, has contributed US$600,000 to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to assist Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Education in the safe reopening of schools. The funding will be used to implement protocols to curb the spread of the coronavirus, including installing handwashing facilities, providing hygiene supplies in schools, and conducting cleanliness education campaigns for students. In addition, the money will help boost remote learning initiatives for those children whose schools have not yet restarted classes. KOICA has previously partnered with UNICEF for other education projects in Sri Lanka as well. Korea is a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion laureate. Many thanks, Korea International Cooperation Agency and UNICEF, for your kind support. May the bright Sri Lankan youngsters safely continue their learning and develop their God-given innate potential, in Divine benevolence.

Google bans ads containing COVID-19 misinformation.

As of August 18, 2020, international tech firm Google no longer allows the use of its online ad platforms for ads featuring COVID-19 conspiracy theories or posting ads next to website content with false coronavirus information including material going against “authoritative scientific consensus.” If a website engages in such activities on a large enough scale, it will be prohibited from receiving ad revenue from Google. The proscription is in addition to the company’s previously implemented policy prohibiting advertisements promoting bogus COVID-19 cures and medical misinformation. Our appreciation, Google, for your caring efforts to ensure only accurate coronavirus information is published and distributed. In Heaven’s guidance, may all people understand the power of our words and actions, taking care to only share the truth.

Up next, study finds nature conservation has economic advantages. We are going to thank the parasitologists who study how parasites function, thus contributing to fields such as human and veterinary medicine. Will return with more thoughtful news after these messages here on Supreme Master Television.

Good day, lively viewers, it’s Cayla the vegan Crab Spider and others say I look younger and cool, ah because I’m vegan! I’ve got a healthy tip for you. There are many reasons why raw vegetables make a terrific snack. Not only are they low in calories but also are made up of water which helps you feel full. Can you believe 50 grams or a half cup of celery cubes contains only eight calories? Dip the celery in some hummus or carrots in salsa for a flavorful bite. When you are craving chips and dip, just substitute the chips with raw veggies. You’ll even get a similar crunch effect! Love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Thank you for watching, and here’s the weather around the world!

Study highlights economic benefits of protecting nature.

The Campaign For Nature has published a report that calculates the financial gains from environmental conservation. The paper backs the proposed United Nations goal for governments worldwide to protect 30% of earth’s land and water, stating this step could increase global economic output by an average of US$250 billion annually and yield US$350 billion in economic benefits from ecosystem services yearly by 2050. Such services include life-protecting water filtration, lessening of coastal erosion, and clearing of air pollution. Report co-author Dr. Enric Sala of the National Geographic Society explained, “The well-being of humanity and global economic prosperity depends on us fixing our broken relationship with nature.” The United Nations is a Shining World Leadership for Lives-Saving-Hero Award. Our accolades, the Campaign For Nature and United Nations, for your work dedicated to restoring the planet’s biosphere. May humanity soon awaken to the importance of nurturing the deep connections between all life on earth, in Divine wisdom.

Australia invests in the land-saving and job-creating recycling industry.

To enhance the country’s waste-reprocessing infrastructure, the Australian government, a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion recipient and a Shining World Leadership Awards for High Moral Value and Health Guardian laureate, will allocate around US$135 million into a waste recycling initiative. With additional financial support from state governments and recycling companies, funds available for the project are anticipated to be about US$430 million. The endeavor is expected to create about 10,000 new jobs in waste-processing plant construction and operation and keep 10 million tons of refuse out of landfills. Australia’s ban on exporting unprocessed waste will be phased in between 2021 and 2024, and hastens the need to improve waste-recycling facilities. Kudos, Australian government, for your green investment benefiting your citizens and our planet. May the friendly Australians thrive in a sustainable environment, in Celestial brightness.

Police aid homeless migrant workers in United Arab Emirates.

The Sharjah Police have rescued more than 280 unemployed workers living in an under-construction building for almost three months. The situation of the laborers, who lost their jobs as a result of the pandemic, was reported by a good Samaritan during a radio show called, “Direct Line.” Upon hearing the news, the police immediately relocated the individuals to air-conditioned housing at a police academy where they received food, face masks and clothing given by the Consulate General of India and the Sharjah Charity Association. Plans are for the workers to be either repatriated to their home countries or have their visa status updated. Our sincere thanks for the kind assistance and Allah’s blessings, good Samaritan, Sharjah Police, Sharjah Charity Association and the Indian Consulate. May all workers be safe during these challenging times as we await brighter tomorrows, in Heaven’s uplifting grace.

Coming up, international retail giant introduces vegan meatballs. It’s time for us to reflect on how we talk to others and ourselves, and remember to be positive. Supreme Master Television will return in just a moment with more exceptional news. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Exemplary News for a Nobler World.

IKEA adds plant-based meatballs to its vegan offerings.

The Sweden-headquartered home furnishings and furniture giant IKEA has launched its new “plant balls” in more than 290 stores in Europe, with more countries to follow. The product, made from oats, pea protein, potatoes, apples and spices, is now available in the freezer section to take home and at its bistros for dine in. IKEA Restaurants will begin serving the item in October 2020. The release is part of the company’s initiative to reduce its carbon emissions and become more eco-friendly. According to IKEA, the plant balls have a 96% lower carbon footprint than their animal-based counterpart. Other vegan offerings at IKEA include strawberry soft-serve ice cream, plant-based caviar and a veggie hot dog. Such tasty news, IKEA! May your plant balls become a success as we embrace a soon-in-coming world in which all follow vegan and green living.

Canine hero alerts caregiver of fire in United States.

When Roux, a three-year-old Belgian Malinois, started barking agitatedly and circling by the front door one evening, her caregiver, Jeff LeCates of Franklin, Tennessee opened the door and saw flames engulfing his neighbor’s home. Mr. LeCates banged on their door, rousing the three-person household from their sleep. The family, including their animal companions, made it safely outside. Firefighters put out the blaze, which they believe was started by a disposed of fireworks product. It appears Roux, a rescue dog, was returning a favor as a woman who escaped the fire-damaged house helped arrange her adoption by Jeff and thus saved Roux’s life. We are so happy to hear all family members are safe and hope the residence is repaired soon. Heaven bless you, Roux and Jeff LeCates. May you all have many more secure and happy years together, in God’s love.

Laughter is an instant vacation. Let’s take a short trip and laugh together with our joke of the day entitled “Quintuple Intelligence.”

Three guys on a boat were enjoying the sea view when one of them spotted a mermaid. She promised to grant each of them a wish if they wouldn’t tell anyone about her.

The first guy, Ed, said: “Deal. I’d like you to double my intelligence.” Immediately, he began to recite a sonnet by Shakespeare.

The second guy, Ralph, exclaimed: “Wow! Could you triple my intelligence?” He had no sooner made the request than he started spouting Einstein’s equations on the theory of relativity.

Then, the third guy, Jeff, shouted: “That’s amazing! Quintuple my intelligence.”

“Are you sure? You might not like the outcome.”

“I’m sure. Just do it.” He closed his eyes to wait for the wish to be granted and - poof! – he became a woman.

And now we have a heartline from Carol Divine in Australia:

Thank You so much, Master, for informing the public about the poison in all seafood and meat. After the live stream video, I felt a tremendous outpouring of energy through Master’s power in my meditation. Thank You, Master, for reminding us of our noble purpose on this planet, to love and have compassion for all species and let them live, just as we humans want to live. We must all pray for World Vegan. Carol Divine from Australia

Attuned Carol, We appreciate your sharing of your thoughts and experiences, and also deeply thank Supreme Master Ching Hai who has a reply for you: “Thoughtful Carol, I pray that humanity now embraces the vegan lifestyle, and our world swiftly becomes a place where all beings live in blissful tranquility. God’s power reminds us all of our Divine purpose here on planet Earth. May all souls in sun-blessed Australia hear God’s call to unite and uplift our planet to World Vegan.”

We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartline
