An Attitude of Selfless Service Is Absolutely Necessary to Progress to the Highest Level of Spiritual Attainment

And now we have a heartline from Lin-Feng in Taiwan, also known as Formosa:

Greetings, Beloved Supreme Lord Ching Hai of all Universes! In addition to imparting to disciples the Quan Yin Method for liberation, Master also bestows upon us many working opportunities to help with our spiritual progress, such as the cleaning jobs in Centers, Hsihu Ashram, and the New Land Ashram. Long-term cleaning work often makes the cleaner’s body wet and dirty, so it’s difficult to recruit working staff. However, a group of initiates, not afraid of getting messy and filthy, still continues their service with humility and endurance, and provides a clean place for meditation to the public.

This kind of sincere practicing attitude that is selfless, both inside and outside, is not ignored by God! On April 10, 2023, Master held a “Promotion Ceremony of Tathagata” in Heaven. When I attended the ceremony in my inner vision, I saw several long-term leaders of cleaning teams in both the northern and southern regions were all promoted to new “Tathagatas” at their old age! However, it seemed that their physical minds didn’t know about it, and they continued to dedicate themselves selflessly. Without Master’s consent, I didn’t tell them. When we see them working hard in cleaning toilets in the ashrams, have we ever imagined that they’re already the Tathagatas?

Japanese master of prophecy Seishi Onisaburo Deguchi once said, “Humans cannot be of service to the true God unless they have such a frame of mind as to clean the lavatory with delight.” He also said, “Besides, people these days are enthusiastic about aiming higher for better positions, but they must be able to enjoy beautifying dirty places if they are ever selected to serve God. Otherwise, it would be utterly impossible for them to be entrusted with the Divine work of drastically washing and cleaning the Universe.”

Now, many fellow initiates who have been humbly serving the public have attained the fruition of Tathagata, confirming his words. Our “circle of Tathagata” has truly set up a “cleaning team of the Universe” in the spiritual realm, responsible for clearing away the roadblocks existing for eons in the Universe as well as cleaning the dirt stuck in the cosmic junctions. Not only have we received Master’s safe guidance on the inside, on the outside, we are moving toward the Divine and enlightenment step by step through our work. How fortunate it is to be able to practice spiritually under Master! Prostrating myself before Master to express my thankfulness, Lin-Feng from Taiwan (Formosa)

Clear-sighted Lin-Feng, Thank you for your illuminating heartline. We are glad to hear of the spiritual promotion of our fellow brothers and sisters who serve so selflessly. May you and the wonderful people of Taiwan (Formosa) always know your Divine selves.

Master shares a message with you: “Knowing Lin-Feng, an attitude of selfless service is absolutely necessary to progress to the highest level of spiritual attainment. If we are not willing to clean bathrooms and the filth of the outer world, how would we be able to purify the inner world, which is far more difficult? The kind of attitude that is needed for enlightenment requires steadfast perseverance and willingness to refine even the darkest places in our own hearts. Your brothers and sisters who have been upkeeping the ashrams for many years have cultivated a sincere willingness to surrender themselves without resistance to this arduous work. It is good that you see this and understand. I hope many more awaken this quality in themselves and wholeheartedly serve the world wherever they are needed. May the Buddhas bless you and the diligent Taiwanese (Formosan) people with spiritual realization.”
