Well respected for identifying new global trends, British investor and philanthropist Jim Mellon has predicted a large-scale transition to plant- and cell-based food production within ten years to address climate change, animal cruelty, and pandemics.

Specifically, he believes that half the world’s meat and fish would soon be vegan or lab-grown. In addition, the dairy industry is set to end, as plant milks such as from soy and oats gain more popularity. Mr. Mellon operates Agronomics Limited, a leading UK-based cellular agriculture investment company. He said, “We need to make it cleaner; we need to make it less environmentally damaging; and we need to remove antibiotics and hormones from the food supply.”

Our happy applause and thanks, Jim Mellon, for your encouraging vision. May a future soon dawn where only health and kindness prevail, in Heaven’s splendor.
