Today’s episode from our series, “Building a Peaceful Planet for All Beings,” will feature the Lewandowski family, as a showcase of the dedicated citizens of the inevitable dream world we are building. Kristine, a 13-year-old vegan, competitive swimmer and animal lover from Switzerland has been a vegetarian/vegan since she was born. “It is rather easy, because everybody supports me and also, I have friends everywhere, who are also vegan.” As a nutritionist, Sonja shares some tips for all moms, on how to manage with vegan children. “The first tip I can give is that when a child comes and says: ‘I want to eat vegan!’ then it is entirely OK. And nowadays, the switch to a vegan diet is very easy. There are more and more (vegan) products, in restaurants, everywhere you go. It is possible to eat vegan. The second tip I can give, is that you can look up recipes on the internet, so you can convert your family’s favorite recipes into vegan dishes.”
