I love a nice hot cup of coffee in the morning to get me going, but later in the day and evening, I prefer something more calming. Here is a tip on how to make creamy vegan pumpkin spice chai latte. Combine two chai tea bags in 470 milliliters (2 cups) of plain, unsweetened vegan milk, 90 grams (6 tablespoons) of pumpkin purée, 10 milliliters (2 teaspoons) of maple syrup, a small drop of vanilla extract, and 2 grams (½ teaspoon) of pumpkin spice blend in a saucepan. Allow it to come to a slow simmer for approximately three minutes. When ready, serve in two mugs, garnishing each with a cinnamon stick.
