Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association Relief Update for Türkiye
A series of powerful earthquakes and subsequent flooding have devastated southern Türkiye and northern Syria, leaving millions of people in need of urgent humanitarian support. Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) has allocated US$50,000 for the countries’ disaster-affected. With Master’s loving contribution of US$25,000 for Türkiye and also donations from our Association members around the world, a team of our Turkish and Korean members along with local partners was mobilized to carry out relief efforts in the affected areas of southeastern Türkiye. Through the assistance of many local volunteers, a total of 2,000 relief kits were assembled, with each containing a variety of daily necessities, including enough vegan food to sustain a family of four for six weeks, as well as hygiene items, and toys for the children.
Our relief team is deeply grateful to Master for the angels safeguarding all members during the continuous aftershocks, and for guiding them to the most needed families. “Thank You, Supreme Master Ching Hai.” “Thank You. Our sincere appreciation also goes to all the local officials, partners, and volunteers as well as our Association’s relief team, for their kind assistance to both humans and animal-individuals during the mission.
